Bathroom Tiling - Portishead

Project Scope

This customer had a bad experience with a previous tradesman who had left the bathroom in a poor state of repair before they were asked to leave.

RG Homes were asked to review the work that had been carried out and identified that, along with the poor cosmetic state of the tiling there was also a damaged water pipe leaking through the floorboards of the bathroom and on to the electric fuse box below.

Our Solution

Once the leaking pipe was identified the customer called a qualified plumber to fix the damage to make the property safe.

We removed the new tiles that had been laid by the previous tradesman, prepared the floors and helped the customer to choose better tiles and a fresher colour to make much better use of the limited lighting in the bathroom.

We completed the work to a high quality and left the bathroom looking clean and bright.

What The Customer Said

"Over the nine months that I have known Rimas we have built up a friendly relationship which extends to a feeling that he will be there for me should I need his help in an emergency.

The first job that he was prepared to take on was to correct the bad workmanship of a builder who was half-way towards installing a new bathroom for me when I realised his work left a lot to be desired and I had to ask him to leave. This was a stressful time but Rimantas made is very clear that 'he would not be happy if I was not happy' and I must always tell him.

He has also decorated my kitchen and carried out many small jobs for me."
